Wednesday we kicked off our first [midweek] of the 2008 by beginning our new series “Kickin’ it Old School”. We’ll be spending the next few weeks learning from Old Testament heroes. The evening started off with the best of all old school games – dodgeball. You could argue with that but you’d be wrong. We were also introduced to Old School; I have a feeling we’ll be hearing more from him over the next few weeks.

We spent our time in the book of Jeremiah and the truths that 1) God created you by a divine design and 2) God created you with a divine purpose. You are not an accident. You have a purpose. That’s the truth from the mouth of God.

The evening closed with a time to ask God how He might want to move in our hearts and in our city in 2008. Check out the wall in the loft to see what we’re talking about.
